The
WVU-Benedum Project's PDS(Professional Development School)program is in
its thirteenth year at West Milford Elementary School.
The PDS program offers Professional Development for the teachers at West Milford by providing funding or coverage to attend seminars and conferences.
The Teacher Education component allows WVU Education students to spend three years in this school beginning in their Junior year. The WVU Teacher Education program is a five-year program which allows students to complete their MA degree. This year, we have three interns, four participants and three tutors. This program affords these students the opportunity to gain experience in every grade level in the elementary school.

Mrs. Peg Holmes and Mrs. Anita Richard(Teacher Ed Coordinators), Mrs. Tonya Posey, Mrs. Rena Lawrence, Mrs. Janet Poling, Mrs. Jodi Lough, Mrs. Sherry Marks and Mrs. Pattae Kinney (Acting Principal).
