Transportation - A Medicaid Certified Provider

We have five handicapped accessible vans operating Monday - Friday.  A two-week notice for medical appointments is preferred.  We  provide a curb-to-curb service.  Donations are accepted for service; however,   Medical transportation may be provided on a sliding scale fee in accordance with Medicaid guidelines.   The Center is now a provider for non-emergency medical transportation for the UMWA Health and Retirment Funds.

 Set fees are charged for recreation trips.

 

Need a ride - call 623-6795 and ask for TRANSPORTATION  to arrange for this service.

• Transportation to and from Nutter Fort and Shinnston Nutrition Sites.
  

  Providing one-on-one service to medical appointments
  

  Group trips for advocacy meetings
  

  Recreation trips - limited availability - senior clubs and special interest groups
  

  Senior transportation to grocery store
